relaxation

so i am thoroughly enjoying not having to do anything in the evenings so much that i neglected to post for a couple of days. i know i know, it only takes a couple of minutes... expect a post drought over the holiday weekend as well because we are flying out tmrw evening to nashville and won't be back until monday evening. my uncle is having his new year's bash on saturday (was moving during new year's and had to postpone). everyone in tn is really excited to see jake (as they should be - he's growing up!!) and we're excited to get out of the city for a few days.
on monday nite, we went to the mall for no reason and had an enjoyable evening just walking around together and picking up a few clothes items for growing jake. tuesday and wednesday nites were simply watching american idol and hanging out together. tonite we have to finish getting all packed up for the trip!!
