good week at work

ok, so i forgot to post yesterday and i back dated the previous post so i could have a post on my birthday. anyways, the week at work has been good with some solid successes along the way. i successfully figured out how to write a set of scripts on a mac server via the underlying unix foundation to have a particular webserver startup (and backup all of its files) after the machine reboots and before anyone logs in. i was very excited after it worked for the first time. the rest of the week has been filled with continuing to get aquainted with the myriad of servers, routers, firewalls, etc. on our network and to log into them and play around with them while not messing anything up.
