a prelude to black history month

coretta scott king, wife of dr. martin luther king, has passed away only a couple of weeks after our country's rememberance of her late husband's birthday. my condolences go out to the family, but what a life she lived! the years fighting for civil rights with martin and the nearly 40 years after his assassination that she has carried on his legacy.

coincidentally, today also would have been jackie robinson's birthday.
