winter reading list

i've already updated the sidebar as i've been trying to put this together, but here goes. we'll see how much i get done, but here's a start:
- finish celebration of discipline by foster in our lifegroup - only 3 chapters left.
- skim through gardening books (i did this friday night, but garden planning will require more.)
- fantasyland by sam walker
- skim the nazarene books from the seminary library (due back in january)
- finish weaver on strategy by earl weaver
- blue like jazz by donald miller
- narnia - the silver chair
- harry potter & the hbp (#6, 2nd read)
- roger angell - the summer game
- devotions starting in 2007: a year with thomas merton

i'll be surprised if i get to these:
? the last word and the word after that by mclaren
? traveling mercies - anne lamott
? another baseball book
? finding faith by mclaren

i've got "blue like jazz" on my nightstand, too. tell me when you read and i'll try to start then. and of course, thoughts on hp6 are always welcome... :)

will do. as a heads up, it looks like i'll be starting very close to new year's and hopefully just before. i've already read a chapter or two (had checked it out of the library and i could tell quick that i wanted to just buy it); it's good, thought-provoking stuff.
