the bird has landed

i'm here on the wifi in the hotel room in cloudy viera, fl. we got the press passes, but it's only good for the nationals' stadium. we got the contact info for the dodgers and astros people (away games on friday and sunday respectively) and the dodgers have already agreed to accommodate us. very cool. i'll try to contact the astros again in the morning and i'll update later. we'll be trying to watch and talk to minor league players each morning before going to the games in the afternoons.
