braces

so i got braces on friday.

i can't recall who all i have and have not told about this possibility, but i have them now. lindsay has worked for the orthodontists for over two years now so i was able to get theme for free. my teeth don't hurt that much unless i actually, you know, touch them. eating is sometimes a challenge (fork and knife for everything) and sometimes it's not worth the hassle. but really, overall, it's a good thing and i'll only be in them 15-18 months. which means when i get them off i'll be almost 30 (and probably about to get that minivan or camry ... ).

ouch... ouch... i mean before thanksgiving - only the biggest eating day of the year. man... not sure about this call, i would've chosen monday after, but oh well. :)

minivan, say what? you all seriously going minivan route. stacey has vowed no mini-van, so we'll see how that holds up when / if brooks gets a sibling.

see, braces suck, but you don't have to have them for very long, so that's good. i had them for 3 years. i'm glad i didn't realize how horrible i looked in them until about 2.75 years had gone by. yikes! and eating gets better, so that's good, too. good luck!

the sienna is pretty sweet and, since i'm officially "in my 30s" now, i'm OK with it. and sorry about the braces. angie had years of braces but i've (thankfully) got good teeth.
