like it's burnin' a hole in my pocket
what?! McCollins posts something?! yes yes folks its true. ok it's not been for a lack of things to say that i haven't posted in two weeks. just not able to find the right combination of words and time to sit and blab about all that has been going on. last weekend, L brought lots of stuff for the apartment, i bought a new car, a new tv, and a home theater system. the wedding is rapidly rapidly approaching (12 days away now) and i've been finalizing the honeymoon plans. work is still work and school is still school and i'm curious as to how missing a week and a half of class is going to play out. it's all good =) so for now, take care and be blessed!
ps. yay they found snipey! but traffic was KArazy this past weekend with everyone getting outside for the first time in 3 weeks.

well, i'm a bad boy. here i go setting up a website to give you a glimpse into my life and then i don't ever update it. =) well, the weekend was good, but filled with friends (mr. j and ms. m), movies (count of monte cristo, conspiracy theory), good food (chili's and outback), homework and a dash of church. however, the best part is that it's not done. one nice perk of working for 'the man' is 13 paid holidays =) and it's been a glorious day of nothing including a tad of hw, some laundry, and a date with the couch and gf2. this evening will be a normal monday evening with hw, 7th h, and some hw reading. adios!

i could tell you a different story every day and they'd all be the same. some good days, some bad days, but when you take 5 steps back, they all look alike. so... today was good, then bad, then good - works out pretty well, eh?!

alright so when i get back to work in the morning, i'm about 30 minutes from having another one of those x things turned in. it's a new week and it's gonna start off right: workout, 7th heaven, hw, get to bed early =) i like that one.

sleep formula
have you ever noticed how two extended periods of sleep, when added together do not equal the sum total amount of rest garnered from one contiguous sleep? i had to get up this morning to run an errand and thus didn't get my one day per week of sleeping with no alarm until i wake up. therefore, when i got home i took a nap which ended up going on and on for about 3-3.5 hours. however, if that amount of time was added to the amount of time i slept the nite before, it sure doesn't equal the amount of sleep i felt i had had by this evening. know what i mean?

imac
ok, so i know we shouldn't lust or idolize, but have you seen this new imac? oh my the thing is beautiful! i've used macs extensively in my work experiences, but i've never owned a mac. now i'm ready to "switch", but the finances need to start flowin a little better first. have i told you about my apartment? yeah we joke about how expensive it is, but it's not really funny hehe =)
how work works
sorry to sound kind of dismal the other day. it had been a long day at work. working for 'the man' has it's positives and negatives (as any job probably does). in my job i have to do x number of things in y amount of time and i'm not allowed to work more than 40 hours (a positive thing in my book). well, on tuesday we had until 5pm if we wanted to get any more x things turned in. i was close, but i didn't think i would have enough time so i resigned to just turn it in wednesday. well, the boss calls and tells me to get it in by 5 and pursues to make a comment about my work rate. now i know his job is to push me along, but i'm still learning. at any rate, i got it out and while it was stressful and nerve-wracking to work non-stop all day, it was an uplifting sense of accomplishment. in sum, i guess i was just drained so i delved into the mindless creation of this website as a way of not having to think about anything else.

well, here is the new site. i plan to write stuff here i guess. whatever. just stuff. maybe about work. not today though. you wouldn't want to hear all that. maybe about school. not today though. gotta go actually work on schoolwork.
