taxes and axis
yeah yeah off duty for a couple of days there, but guess what? i've decided to venture into learning python to spice up the site. you use it to create dynamic web pages. on a side note, me and kg are in the midst of a fierce putt-putt battle. what's that? you've never played it? be careful, it can become addictive attempting to get an 18 =)) (which both of us have done btw ;-) ) as for life, it's been pretty good - really pressin' hard at work, Bible study was interesting, and the new. state of the union was unusually good. i'm glad bush finally gave us some numerical data regarding iraq and wmds. i'm glad to hear about aid for aids in africa, but from what i understand bush turned the same thing down last fall and this issue appears to be a concession since the rest of his speech was heavily right-wing and hawkish (taxes and axis). well, enough of that... catch ya later and be on the watch for the new pages...

xbox vs. state of union
ok ok so it's been a week - sorry! =) you know what? you miss a few days and then you get overwhelmed that you have to talk about more and more on here and then you just don't do it. so here's the past week: american idol was funny, Bible study was really good, missed bachelorette but joe mill was interesting. melissa over mojo? you gotta be crazy man. look she's not money hungry and all gals wanna get married. if you only saw mel and sarah when the other gals aren't around, you'd be beggin to cut 2 girls no matter what you and sarah did in the woods! yes fans you've guessed it - the McCollinses are rooting for zora. don't miss the winner. thursday nite was all reruns on nbc, but i'm not surprised about the tough enough 3 winners. i knew it'd be john and either matt or eric. it almost makes me want to watch wrestling again just to see them. nah... friday and saturday we went with some folks from Church to a Christian ed conference and it was a good time. Church on sunday was good as well. work on monday went surprisingly well and i just hope it continues thru the week - which btw is a shortened week since i have every other friday off. woohoo!! you know what's annoying? when you get a package in the mail from usps and they leave that little slip. now they don't just leave it in the office like fedex or ups so you can pick it up real easy - they make you fill out the slip and say you want it left in the office, but they don't bring it just in case the next day - so instead of a 2 minute walk to the office, it's a 2 day wait until they finally bring it back and leave it in the office. on a final note, i'm still debating between xbox and the state of the union address... i mean i can read the high points on the web and not suffer thru all the clapping and standing o's can't i?

hi ho hi ho it's off to...
another day and another update - it must be a record of some sort! today was my first day back to work and it wasn't that bad, but a supervisor i needed to talk to about both things i'm working on wasn't there so i had to figure out some stuff on my own and talk to some colleagues. Mrs. McCollins got officially hired today at the place she's been working for over a month as a temp. very good news though =)) tonite we'll be catchin a few shows on the toob. i never watched american idol 1 once, but i've got high entertainment expectations for american idol 2. tomorrow nite Bible study gears back up and we're excited =)

4 day weekend rules!
ok after a few breaks, i'm finally done. it's sad to see this wonderful 4 day weekend come to an end (with my new work schedule i have every other friday off), but it has been a very fun weekend. on friday, i worked some on this big update, i finished the first half of the two towers, and played xbox. school is starting back feb. 10 so i'm trying to play around as much as i can right now =) friday evening, we had the young adult group from church over for pizza and games and we had a riot of a time playing uno attack and then cranium. in addition to the pizza, we had an excellent sausage salsa cheese dip made by yours truly. (ok so i just had to dump the ingredients in the crock pot and wait a few hours, but it was still good!) on saturday, me and mrs. McCollins went apartment hunting for almost 4 hours and you'd be surprised at how tiring that is! we found a couple prospects, but we're stuck here til may 3 so we have time to find more possibilities =) saturday nite we caught catch me if you can and it was very enjoyable. sunday was church of course, followed by olive garden as a treat to mrs. a's birthday, and then the obligatory nazarene nap followed by the on and off viewing of the conference championships. our titans came close before those last couple of raider tds. while viewing the second half of this game, some friends came over for more games. this time it was dominoes and a hilarious new game talkin' tango. this morning as you can see i've finished up the revamp and started the laundry =) mmm... i smell mrs. McCollins' roast cooking away... dinner shall be good!!
slight delay
ok ok so i ran out of time on friday and had to wait until my off day today (thanks mlk!) to finish up the revamp of the website.
