back in the swing of things

we're back in the swing of things now, but next week neither one of my parents will be here and it will be back to getting up in the middle of the nite with jake (joys of parenthood :-) nah, it's not that bad - he's only getting up about twice in the nite now). he's eating good and getting bigger and thus i'll have to get up some new pictures soon. my dad was here last week, my mom is here this week, they overlapped over the weekend, and jake was dedicated at church on sunday. on saturday we found a nice park for a kfc picnic on the banks of the potomac and occoquan rivers. baseball started last week and it's actually really nice to have it back around. i can't wait to get to an orioles game and get one of these famous bbq sandwiches i've started to hear about. we're going to nyc around labor day and i might be able to hit a yankees or mets game (or both?!). however, i've really enjoyed basketball this season - not because of any rise in spectacular play, just because - and i'm really looking forward to the playoffs. the east playoffs are more of a formality as only 2 or 3 teams have a realistic chance of going to the finals, but the west has a good 4 teams with realistic shots. well, enjoy the spring weather as it begins to come around and i'll try to get more pictures up soon!
