for those still listening

howdy hello :-)
it's been a while, but it's only been more of the same round here - busy busy. october's been a crazy month with both parents visiting individually (well, dad is this coming weekend), a trip of our own to knoxville, a church retreat, and dinner with a friend from the area who has moved away. the fun doesn't stop with october because the first weekend of november we'll be travelling to kg and stacey's wedding in huntsville, al. then comes our 2nd wedding anniversary and we're not sure what we'll be doing ...

work continues to be busy and wednesday is actually my last day in crystal city. yes, beginning thursday i'll be at the brand new campus at the west end of old town alexandria.

school is nuts and three classes was crazy. but i'm getting my stuff done as i can - it just involves lots of time away from L and jake that i'd much rather spend with them.

i hope all is well with you!

quick trip

well we just had a really good - albeit quick - trip to knoxville and back but it was well worth it. we got in late friday evening (9-10pm) and were greeted by family, meatloaf, mashed potatoes, broccoli casserole, yum, yum, yum. saturday slept in some, ran some errands, went to tucker's 1 year b-day party (see labor day @ va beach), and L took jake with some family to get some pictures made and then went out with more family to dinner while me and her uncle went to the aub@ut game. yes, i know, massacre. auburn looks to easily be the best of the west now that lsu has two conference losses and not enough offense. ut will probably get creamed by uga this weekend and then uga and auburn will play each other in november and two weeks later in atlanta. however, i'd never been to a game and the experience was still awesome :-)
sunday was church, lunch, rest, and then off to the airport. we pulled in at home at nearly 11:30pm and were soon in bed.
