so yeah um ...
we're moving... to kentucky! i'll probably be more regular at posting (i hope) when i get there since i have a few readers here in the dc area (well, when i'm a more regular poster).
so yeah. tmrw is my last day at work, we pack all weekend, movers pack the truck(s) on tuesday, we (with father-in-law) drive on wednesday, have the closing thursday morning, movers unpack the truck(s) on thursday afternoon, washer dryer & fridge are delivered thursday afternoon, and i start the new job on friday. then a 3 day weekend to catch my breath :-)

alright alright
so it's been a while... school got pretty rough there at the end, but it's over thankfully. i've been out for a couple of weeks and it's been nice to relax. i've been able to get a good jump on my harry potter re-read (3rd reading) and my narnia read (1st time amazingly). dad had been here visiting us for the past week and we've had a great time all just hanging out and spending time together. now that it's summer (and i'm not taking any classes) and the tv season is basically over, me and L will be able to catch up on some netflix :-) i'd write more, but i've gotta update the poker page (finally... i'm a slacker) and pop a movie in.
