permanent wii-itis

lo and behold, what did santa leave me under the tree: a wii. lindsay had no idea either! an awesome surprise and i can't wait to get playing here!

wii-itis

L's parents got a wii for lindsay's brother, cory, and their household and after just a couple of boxing matches and some home run swinging, my right shoulder has a case of wii-itis. hurting pretty bad, but for a fun reason :-)

whew!

finally done with the semester. too many late nights by my own fault there at the end and now i have a cold. hopefully, i'll have my head above water and posting more soon.

give thanks

yeah, thanksgiving has come and gone, but it's always good to have a time to stop for a second and say...

'wow, i have a lot to be thankful for.' (or 'for which to be thankful if you like to speak awkwardly and grammatically correct.)

i'm thankful for my relationship with Christ, a wonderful family, a safe and warm home, a fun job, a nearing graduation date, and a good church with a vision in ministry close to my heart.

in no particular order, i'm also thankful for xm radio for a 40 minute commute, 30+ mpg in "the silver bullet," free braces, volunteers at church, starbucks verona coffee (brewed "cheaply" at home), great friends, good podcasts of indie and alternative rock music from npr and others, my local library (wink wink), the 2026 louisiana blaze hopefully making the playoffs next season, and the 1958 los angeles angels hopefully becoming relevant again, and the many makers of the many classic movies i've watched in the past year.
