v-day in nashville

for valentine's day weekend, we took advantage of an event - kg and stacey's son, Brooks' first birthday party - to finally visit them in alabama. the rest of the compressed weekend was spent in nashville going out for a nice valentine's day dinner and seeing my parents and all my grandparents. mom's mom is now living in a place in mt. juliet and it was great to see her on our way home sunday morning. it was a ton of driving, but we had a blast hanging out with all the givenses on saturday evening!

post for the sake of posting

so i think i figured it. adding working out around 3 times a week cramps the schedule more

and makes me feel like i never have time to post or something to say.

basically, things are normal and going good. work is the same, but feeling busier. lindsay's office added an extra patient day every other week so she's having to work more as well. class starts tuesday so i figured i should post something now or never :-)

i'll try to find some things to say. that could be part of the problem as well - you see, for the past couple of months i've been really into politics. listening to it on the radio (xm 130 - potus08. woohoo!) to and from work, keeping up with it all each day in the news, etc. and i don't really like to talk politics on here too much. however, i've swung back around to right in the middle so maybe i won't mind as much since i don't really claim to be on either side.

alright, i'll let ya know how the first day of my last semester goes.
